Blige, A Tribe Called Quest, and Kool & the Gang are among the eight inductees in the performer category at this year’s Rock Hall induction. MC5, Jimmy Buffett, Dionne Warwick, and Norman Whitfield will receive the Musical Excellence award.
Flavor Flav took his role as the inductee MC seriously, warmly greeting stars like Foreigner, Cher, and Billy Idol as they arrived at the ceremony.
On Friday, the Public Enemy rapper announced his participation as the inductee MC for the event, sharing his excitement for celebrating fellow inductees and welcoming them to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame family. Public Enemy themselves were inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2013.
