Recording Academy and MusiCares CEO Harvey Mason Jr. and board of trustees chair Tammy Hurt released a joint statement on Jan. 13 affirming that the show will go on.

“Our hearts go out to everyone affected by the wildfires in Los Angeles. Despite the challenges, the 67th Grammy Awards telecast on CBS on Feb. 2 will proceed as planned, with a focus on public safety and responsible use of resources,” the statement reads.

The platform will also be used to raise funds for wildfire relief efforts and honor the bravery of first responders.

The Recording Academy and MusiCares have pledged $1 million to aid music professionals and launched the Los Angeles Fire Relief Effort.

The 2025 Grammy Awards will be held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles in three weeks, with Kendrick Lamar and Beyoncé leading the nominations.
