The opportunity to work on a Star Wars project, explore the expansive Volume, engage in pre-visualization, interact with pirates and puppets, and even hang out with Jude Law was a dream come true for all of us.
David Lowery: Jon pitched the idea of kids lost in the Star Wars universe, alongside a crew of pirates, which instantly resonated with me given my recent venture into pirate themes with a Peter Pan movie. The mention of a robot named SM-33 and the involvement of Jude Law as a lead actor further fueled my excitement, drawing parallels to my previous work with Captain Hook.
Bryce Dallas Howard: With a longstanding connection to these filmmakers, including Ford, spanning over two decades, the opportunity to collaborate on Skeleton Crew felt like a natural progression. Our shared history and mutual creative respect laid the foundation for a seamless working dynamic, enriched by our collective experiences in the industry.
Jake Schreier: Having been roommates with Jon and Ford during college, the decision to include me in the directorial lineup seemed almost inevitable. Our shared history, dating back to a collaborative sound project during our freshman year at NYU, laid the groundwork for this exciting venture into the Star Wars universe.
Lee Isaac Chung: My introduction to the project came through discussions with Jon Watts and Jon Favreau, who recognized my work on Mando.
