The 15-track album, Next, was released on Oct. 11 on Interscope/ICLG and debuted with 10,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. for the tracking week of Oct. 11-17, as reported by Luminate.

Of the total units earned in the first week, 9,000 units came from streaming activity, which is equivalent to 13.5 million official on-demand U.S. streams for the album’s songs. Additionally, 1,000 units were from traditional album sales, with a negligible amount from track-equivalent units.

The Top Latin Albums and Regional Mexican Albums charts rank the most popular Latin and regional Mexican albums of the week based on multi-metric consumption measured in equivalent album units. Each unit represents one album sale, 10 individual tracks sold from an album, or 3,750 ad-supported or 1,250 paid/subscription on-demand official audio and video streams for a song on the album.

Next marks Xavi’s first top 10 placement on any albums chart, following the success of eight songs on Hot Latin Songs and five on the overall Latin Airplay chart.

At just 20 years old, Xavi, a first-time Billboard Latin Music Award winner as Artist of the Year in 2024, previewed Next with five songs, three of which reached the top 10 on the multi-metric tally. These include “La Víctima,” “La Diabla,” and “Corazón de Piedra.”

The album features three collaborations, including “Modo DND” with Tony Aguirre, “Poco a Poco” with Los Dareyes de La Sierra, and “Tu Casi Algo” with Fabio Capri, Xavi’s brother.

One of Xavi’s songs, “Flores,” has seen a rise on the Hot Latin Songs chart, moving from 48 to 43 with 3 million audience impressions, a 3% increase. The song has also climbed from 15 to 13 on the Regional Mexican Airplay chart.
