After making a statement about retiring from acting post his role in Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Jim Carrey offers some clarification on his previous comments.
Despite announcing his retirement just a couple of years ago, Carrey is back on screen as Dr. Robotnik in the third installment of Sonic the Hedgehog.
“Retirement isn’t something one can be certain about. Although I expressed a desire to retire, my statement revolved more around a period of rest and not necessarily a permanent step back,” Carrey explained to ComicBook. “Things can change when a great idea or a team you enjoy working with comes along.”
