About Shape of Dreams
Developed by South Korean indie game developer Lizard Smoothie, Shape of Dreams combines the elements of a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) with co-op roguelike action battle gameplay. This unique fusion creates a gaming experience where each playthrough offers a fresh challenge.
Neowiz CEO Seung-Chul Kim expressed excitement about the game, stating, “Korea has a rich history with MOBA games, which drew us to Shape of Dreams. Lizard Smoothie has created an innovative action title that merges familiar structures with engaging co-op gameplay. We believe this game will redefine the roguelike genre.”
Development and Gameplay
Initially created by two college students, Shape of Dreams immerses players in a dream world where they can customize their hero’s memories and shape their character according to their vision. The game offers both solo and co-op modes for up to four players. Lizard Smoothie released a demo and prologue on Steam, with the prologue receiving over 200,000 downloads and earning an overwhelmingly positive user rating.
