BTS member J-Hope has officially completed his mandatory service in the South Korean Military!
J-Hope’s Military Service Completion
On Thursday (October 17), the 30-year-old K-Pop star was discharged from the service after completing his required 18-month enlistment period. All able-bodied men in the country must enter the service before the age of 28.
To celebrate the big day, he posed for photos at the 36th Infantry Division in Wonju, Gangwon-do province, South Korea. The hitmaker also reunited with his bandmate, Jin, who was the first BTS member to complete his service!
For the occasion, J-Hope wore his camouflage military uniform, complete with a black beret as he struck several formal poses for photographers at the venue. Jin, who wore a monochromatic red outfit, welcomed him with two large bouquets of flowers. J-Hope signed up for his service in February 2023. The band’s remaining members Suga, V, RM, Jimin, and Jung Kook are currently serving in the military.
