Commander-In-Chief Viola Davis Gears Up for Action in ‘G20’ Trailer

The upcoming movie G20, slated to be a blockbuster, stars Viola Davis as U.S. President Danielle Sutton. In this action-packed film, the celebrated actress assumes the responsibility of ensuring everyone’s safety when external threats loom. Here’s what the official synopsis reveals:

“The G20 summit is under attack, and U.S. President Danielle Sutton is the primary target. Evading capture by the assailants, she must outsmart them in order to protect her family, defend her nation, and ensure the safety of world leaders in this riveting action journey.”

The film, directed by Patricia Riggen, boasts a stellar cast including Anthony Anderson, Marsai Martin, Ramón Rodríguez, Douglas Hodge, Elizabeth Marvel, Sabrina Impacciatore, Christopher Farrar, and Antony Starr. G20 has been penned by Caitlin Parrish, Erica Weiss, Logan Miller, and Noah Miller. Davis also serves as a producer, alongside Andrew Lazar and Julius Tennon.

In the trailer, Davis cries out, “My husband and kids are missing. We must locate them.” We also get a glimpse of the 59-year-old actress leading the charge, engaging in fierce combat, and wielding a firearm.

Riggen expressed to The Hollywood Reporter, “This is a side of Viola Davis you haven’t witnessed before — courageously fighting in an international thrill ride. With G20, my aim was to create a classic, gripping action film that I have always admired, but one that resonates with the high stakes of our modern, technologically advanced world.”
