Dave Chappelle and Killer Mike Announce “Still Talkin’ That Sh*t” Tour
Dave Chappelle and Killer Mike, the controversial comedian and rap legend, are set to embark on a co-headlining 2024 tour next month. The tour, produced by Live Nation, will feature a unique blend of music and comedy performances by the duo and Chappelle’s live band, The Midnight Revival.
Tour Details
The tour will kick off on Nov. 15 at Fox Theatre in Detroit and make stops in cities across the U.S. including Atlanta, Boston, New York, and more, before concluding at Long Beach’s Long Beach Terrace Theater on Nov. 24.
Tickets for the tour will go on sale on Friday, Oct. 25 at 12 p.m. local time on ticketmaster.com.
Friendship and Collaborations
Killer Mike and Chappelle have been longtime friends, with Chappelle recently appearing in the opening monologue of the rapper’s 2022 single “Run,” featuring Young Thug. While they have shared the stage before, this tour marks their most extensive collaboration to date.
Chappelle’s recent Grammy win for best comedy album was tied to his controversial 2022 Netflix special “What’s in a Name?” Meanwhile, Killer Mike released his first solo album in 11 years in 2023, titled “Michael,” followed by “Songs for Singers & Saints” in July.
