The hotline established by Texas attorney Tony Buzbee to receive allegations about Diddy has been inundated with over 12,000 calls within a 24-hour period, as revealed by the Houston-based lawyer.
Diddy Hotline Receives Overwhelming Response
Following a press conference where Buzbee announced his representation of 120 individuals intending to sue Puff and his associates for sexual abuse, he sat down for an interview with Law & Crime on Oct. 2. During the interview, Buzbee disclosed that the hotline had received more than 15,000 calls from individuals with allegations against the embattled music mogul since taking on the case.
“The floodgates really opened when I announced my involvement in this case,” Buzbee stated during the interview. “Within a 10-day period, we received 3,200 calls, and following the press conference, we received 12,000 calls in just 24 hours. Our challenge now is to carefully sift through each call to identify victims, witnesses, and gather evidence.”
Diddy Faces Legal Challenges
Having been sued 12 times in the past year, Diddy is now facing additional lawsuits, according to Buzbee. On Oct. 1, Buzbee informed the press that he represents 120 individuals planning to sue Diddy and his associates for sexual abuse dating back to 1991, with 25 of them claiming to have been minors at the time of the alleged incidents.
In response to the Buzbee Law Firm’s press conference, Diddy’s attorney Erica Wolff released a statement to XXL denying the allegations of sexual abuse. Diddy is also confronting a criminal case after being arrested and indicted for sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation for prostitution. Despite entering a not-guilty plea, he remains in custody until his trial.
