Eminem continues to target Diddy on the Shady Edition of his track “Fuel,” raising questions about Diddy’s involvement in the deaths of Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G.
Eminem Flames Diddy on Remix
On September 13, Eminem dropped the Expanded Mourners Edition of his album The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce). The deluxe version includes an updated “Fuel” featuring Westside Boogie and Grip, where Eminem takes aim at Diddy.
“So who’s next in line? Whose name will be next?/Biggie’s death was a result of Tupac’s murder,” Eminem raps. “Whose clock should I clean next? Diddy’s?/Until he’s in handcuffs, admitting guilt, will he own up?/Like he never turned himself in, who knows how many murders there have been?!?”
Eminem Disses Diddy on Original Version of “Fuel”
In the original version of “Fuel” featuring JID released in July, Eminem also had words for Diddy.
“Don’t test me like an essay (Why?)/’Cause where my friends from the West at, hey (Yeah),” Em raps. “We can just say (What?)/I’m like an R-A-P-E-R/I have so many S-As/S-As/Wait, did he really spell rapper without the ‘P’?/Yup/R-I-P, rest in peace, Biggie/And Pac, both of you should still be alive/Yup, but I don’t want to beef with him because he might have me taken out like Keefe D, get him/And that’s the only way you’ll be killing me (No)/I won’t be taken out on a beat, silly (Yeah).”
Speculation has long surrounded Diddy’s involvement in the murders of Tupac and Biggie. In June, it was revealed that Duane “Keefe D” Davis, implicated in Tupac’s murder, worked with the police to implicate Diddy, claiming Diddy offered him $1 million to kill Tupac. However, Diddy has never faced charges related to the killings.
Diddy has faced criticism as he has been sued 10 times in the past 11 months, with individuals accusing him of verbal, physical, and sexual abuse.
