The upcoming comedy-drama film Fly Me To The Moon stars Scarlett Johansson, Channing Tatum, and others in a narrative set in opposition to the backdrop of NASA’s Apollo 11 moon touchdown. Johansson performs a advertising maven tasked with fixing NASA’s public picture, resulting in chaos as she clashes with launch director Cole Davis (Tatum). When the mission is deemed too necessary to fail, they’re directed to stage a faux moon touchdown as a backup plan. The movie, directed by Greg Berlanti, opens in theaters on July 12, 2024, with a screenplay by Rose Gilroy and produced by Johansson and others.
