Organizers have advised potential buyers to log on to Glastonbury’s ticketing website, managed by See Tickets, a few minutes early due to a recent change in the booking process. The website now features a queue system that requires buyers to wait their turn to purchase tickets.
According to Sky News, this change aims to prevent buyers from manipulating the system by constantly refreshing the page or using multiple devices to buy tickets.
“Instead of refreshing the holding page to access the booking page,” Glastonbury explained on their website. “This year, when the ticket sale begins, everyone on the page will be randomly assigned a place in a queue to proceed with the booking process.

“Anyone who logs on after the sale has started will be placed at the back of the queue, so it’s crucial to be online and prepared a few minutes before the sale opens,” they added.
“Once in the queue, a progress bar will show how close you are to accessing the booking page. Avoid refreshing the page or using multiple devices or tabs to avoid losing your place in the queue.”
