Hilarious Voicemail from Heated Swiftie

Swifties stay swifting.

It seems like no genre of music is immune to Taylor Swift’s cult-like following, with requests coming left and right to turn any set into a Swiftie rave. No one knows that more than dance music star LP Giobbi, who in October 2023 was commissioned to produce and release an official remix of "Cruel Summer," turning the angsty synth-pop track into a bubbly house remix.

Not only did the remix propel Giobbi’s name to the mainstream orbit of Swift’s global pop audience, but it also added another layer of depth to the beloved producer’s craft, much like her popular remixes of The Grateful Dead and Goose. While the track has since become a semi-regular play in the Femme House founder’s DJ sets, it can’t, of course, appear in every single one.

That apparently wasn’t so obvious for one Swiftie at Budapest’s Sziget Festival, who took it upon herself to send what Giobbi consequently called her "best DM ever," a fiery rebuke of the DJ for excluding her "Cruel Summer" remix. Quick to the point, the fan claims it was "really f***ing disappointing" before concluding the voice message with a waggish, "Anyway, love you!"
