Kendrick Lamar’s Double Performance in Enemy Territory
Recently, on Thursday (Dec. 5), Kendrick Lamar and SZA surprised fans by announcing additional dates for the Grand National Tour. Originally scheduled for 19 shows starting in April, the tour has now expanded to include two more shows in Kendrick’s hometown of Los Angeles and an extra performance in Drake’s Toronto. Kendrick will now be performing on consecutive dates at the Rogers Centre in T Dot on June 12, 2025, and June 13, 2025. Could a visit to New Ho King be on the agenda for K-Dot?
The Grand National Tour was initially revealed by Kendrick on Tuesday (Dec. 3) to promote his new GNX album. Alongside SZA, he will be gracing multiple stadium venues across North America, including stops in Houston, Philadelphia, Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, and more. The tour is scheduled to kick off on April 19 and wrap up on June 18 in Washington D.C.
Not to be outdone, Drake is also gearing up for a tour in 2025. The Anita Max Win Tour will see Drizzy headlining nine shows in Australia and New Zealand, starting on Feb. 9, 2025, which coincides with Kendrick Lamar’s performance at the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show.

Hopefully, Kendrick Lamar’s experiences in Canada will be more positive than those of Rick Ross in the past.
