The devastating Los Angeles wildfires have finally been contained, leaving thousands of residents to pick up the pieces and start the rebuilding process.
One LA family received a heartwarming surprise from two of the area’s most well-known figures.
Meghan Markle recently took to Instagram to share a touching story of how she and Billie Eilish joined forces to bring joy to a family in need.
Meghan and Billie’s Good Deed
“About 2 or 3 weeks ago, my husband and I visited a community in Altadena where all the homes lay in ashes,” Meghan recounted from their January 10 visit.
She continued, “We met a mom who found a few items, and as we conversed, I noticed a young woman and asked her age.”
“She’s 15 and lives there. Her mom shared that when they returned to their home for the first time, she was searching for a Billie Eilish concert t-shirt that she had left in the washing machine or dryer,” Meghan explained.

Meghan then revealed a stack of merchandise, some signed by Billie.
“Look at all this signed stuff! It’s for her!” exclaimed the Duchess of Sussex.
Jokingly holding up a lunch box with Billie’s name, Meghan quipped, “Is this a thing? A lunch box thing? I feel old now.”

“A massive ‘thank you’ to Billie Eilish. This will mean the world to her,” Meghan expressed before acknowledging another celebrity:
“And a special shoutout to Adam Levine and Behati: your help made this possible,” Meghan added.
“To everyone supporting those affected by the California wildfires in big and small ways, thank you. I’m going to email her mom now. Just wanted to share this with you all.”
