Joining a star-studded lineup that includes previously announced performers such as Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, GloRilla, Camila Cabello, Rauw Alejandro, Benson Boone, Halsey, Lenny Kravitz, and Blackpink’s Lisa, the show will be broadcast live on Wednesday, September 11th at 8 p.m. ET/PT from New York’s UBS Arena.
Anitta’s Performance
Anitta will bring her signature Brazilian funk to the MTV stage for the third consecutive year, with a medley of “Savage Funk” and “Alegria,” along with the world premiere of “Paradise.” The performance will feature guest appearances by Fat Joe, DJ Khaled, and Tiago PZK. Anitta, the first-ever Brazilian to win at the VMAs in 2022, is aiming for her third consecutive “Best Latin” win this year, with two nominations in that category among her three total nods.
Karol G’s Return

LL Cool J’s Comeback
LL Cool J, following last year’s 50th Anniversary of Hip-Hop tribute, will return to the VMAs stage with a performance of new music from his upcoming album “The Force.” He previously performed and won his first Moon Person in 1991 for “Best Rap.”

Shawn Mendes, ahead of the release of his fifth studio album, will be making his first televised performance of a song from the album.
