This South Korean drama series, masterfully crafted by Hwang Dong-hyuk, introduces us to a dystopian world where 456 players are invited to participate in a series of children’s games for a chance to win a massive cash prize. The catch, however, is that these games are far more perilous than they appear. The players learn this harsh reality in a brutal way during a deadly game of “red light, green light”. The gripping storyline focuses on Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae), the last contestant, who not only outlasts his competitors but also unravels a shocking secret about the game.

The mini backpack design draws inspiration from the enormous piggy bank featured in the series. This golden piggy bank which contains the grand prize of â‚©45.6 billion is showcased prominently at the top of the bag, while the iconic pink-suited guards are depicted at the bottom. The piggy bank aspect of the design is made from PVC, giving it a unique shine. Moreover, the symbols on the guards’ masks glow in the dark, adding a cool touch to the design.

The collection also includes a crossbody bag, a smaller option that is filled with thoughtful details referencing the notorious Dalgona candy game from the show. In this game, the players are tasked with carving out shapes from brittle sugar candy within a set time limit without breaking the shape, failing which they face deadly consequences.

The crossbody bag features a two-sided “Dalgona candy” piece with the umbrella symbol, considered the most challenging shape, on one side and the triangle on the other. The bag, shaped like the tin housing the candy disks in the series, is a perfect replica of the prop from the show. Additionally, the bag includes a detachable coin purse and a “die-cut applique of the cutting utensil”, as described by Loungefly.
