It’s not even Halloween yet, but the excitement for Black Friday deals is already building thanks to Record Store Day.

Each year, record stores across the country celebrate Record Store Day, a biannual event that pays homage to the physical music printed on wax. This celebration features exclusive and early-access printings of both new and old music that can only be found in participating record stores.
Organizers have unveiled the list of albums that will be featured in the Black Friday 2024 sale. With 159 titles available, each album is highly limited, with some having less than 1,000 copies. Some records will be exclusive to Record Store Day, while others may see a reprint in the future.
Exciting Finds for Music Lovers
While rock music dominates this year’s selection, electronic music fans will find a few gems to add to their collections. A standout release includes Boys Noize’s reimagined version of Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross’ soundtrack for the Zendaya-led film “Challengers,” available exclusively on vinyl.
Additionally, the group LSD, comprised of Labrinth, Sia, and Diplo, will have a remix album released with only 2,000 copies up for grabs. ILLENIUM’s sophomore album “Awake” from 2017 will also receive an exclusive Record Store Day release, with just 3,000 copies available in the US.
A Diverse Selection of Artists
Aside from dance music, music lovers can look forward to vinyl releases from a wide range of artists, including The Beatles, Billie Eilish, MF DOOM, Modest Mouse, Djo, Olivia Rodrigo, The Rolling Stones, Snoop Dogg, U2, Pearl Jam, OneRepublic, Stevie Nicks, and Jimi Hendrix, among many others.
