Halloween Goes Dark: RL Grime’s Final Mix
The wandering spirit RL Grime will share Halloween haunts one last time before vanishing into the horizon. The Sable Valley founder is preparing to release the 13th installment in his beloved Halloween mix series. However, the announcement came with the unfortunate news that this year’s mix will be the final entry in the series, which began in 2012.
Countdown to “The End”
The influential electronic music producer took to X to share a preview of the mix, titled “The End.” In it, You can see numbers counting out each mix with eerie sounds layered beneath. When the countdown reaches 13, the music is cut and we’re shown a gravestone that reads 2012-2024. RL Grime has not yet revealed any further details about the mix. Still, fans can expect plenty more hip-hop and electronic selections alongside a celebrity guest for the introduction. His Halloween mixes of yesteryear have featured Neil deGrasse Tyson, T-Pain, and Guy Fieri, among others.
