Bully made its debut in GTA+ today, August 20. After up-to-date ratings for the game left some wondering if a remake would be coming, Rockstar has confirmed that it won’t.
IN support page entryRockstar has revealed the differences between the versions of Bully included with GTA+ on each platform. PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 subscribers receive the original PlayStation 2 version via an emulator, while Xbox Series X and S and Xbox One subscribers receive the Scholarship Edition.
Here’s Rockstar’s explanation:
- PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 players can download and play the original PlayStation 2 version of Bully via the PlayStation 4 re-release and PlayStation 5 Backward Compatibility
- Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One players can download and play Bully: Scholarship Edition via Xbox Backward Compatibility
(Bully: Scholarship Edition includes missions, classes, clothing items, and two-player online mini-games not found in the original Bully.)
So there will be no remaster or up-to-date version of Bully, which will be a bit of a disappointment for fans. Bully is a beloved open-world juvenile delinquent simulator from Rockstar Vancouver that first came out in 2006 on PS2. The sequel The game was once developed at Rockstar’s New England studio in the overdue 2000s.but of course it never worked out.
