We’re thrilled to announce that the annual Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) TV Festival is back. The festival will kickstart with a grand tribute to one of the most popular television shows. Variety will honor Matt and Ross Duffer, the masterminds behind Netflix’s “Stranger Things,” with the Showrunner Award on the opening night. Caleb McLaughlin, one of the stars of the show, will present the award.
The festival, which will take place from February 5-7 in Atlanta, will feature a variety of programs from major broadcasters and streaming platforms. These include 20th Television, Adult Swim, Apple TV+, BET, Hallmark, HBO, Hulu, Max, National Geographic, NBC, Netflix, Paramount+, Peacock, Prime Video, Showtime, Sony Pictures TV, Starz, Syfy, Universal Studio Group, Warner Bros. Animation, and Warner Bros. Television, among others.

This winter, SCADshow will illuminate Midtown Atlanta with SCAD TVfest, offering the best of the latest and most trending content on television,” says SCAD president and founder Paula Wallace. “The event caters to all, whether you wish to binge on the latest series before your friends, or you’re an industry insider looking for fresh talent. She adds, “Professionals will be eager to get a first look at the new SCAD Film Studios in Midtown, which will be unveiled at this year’s festival. There’s no need for channel surfing, as SCAD TVfest has you covered with current hits, exclusive previews, and superstar appearances.”
The festival will not only feature panel discussions and screenings, but it will also honor several notable actors. Hiroyuki Sanada, the Golden Globe and two-time Primetime Emmy Award-winning actor known for his role in “Shōgun,” will be presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
The cast of NBC’s “St. Denis Medical” will receive the Breakthrough Cast Award. Allison Tolman, the show’s star, will be present, along with creators and executive producers Eric
