Ariana Grande and Stevie Nicks will grace the SNL stage on the 12th of October, followed by Michael Keaton and Billie Eilish on the 19th. After a brief hiatus, the show will return on November 2nd with John Mulaney hosting and Chappell Roan performing. In December, Paul Mescal will host the show on the 7th, with Shaboozey as the musical guest. Former cast members Chris Rock and Martin Short are scheduled to host the final shows of 2024 on the 14th and 21st respectively. They will be accompanied by musical guests Gracie Abrams and Hozier.

As the new year dawns, the first live show of 2025 will feature Dave Chappelle, making his fourth appearance as host, and GloRilla performing. A week later, Timothée Chalamet will serve as both the host and the musical guest, fresh from his role as Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown.

SNL, in addition to its regular Saturday episodes — which air at 11:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m. PT on NBC — will commemorate its golden anniversary with a primetime special in February 2025.

Following the 50th-anniversary special, comedian Shane Gillis will host the show for the second time on March 1st, with Tate McRae as the musical guest. Lady Gaga will return to SNL on March 8th, her second time as host and fifth time as a musical guest.

Season 50 also welcomes three new featured players, namely Ashley Padilla, Emil Wakim, and Jane Wickline. They will join the returning cast for an exciting new season. Marcello Hernandez, Michael Longfellow, and Devon Walker are promoted to the main cast after their stint as featured players in the previous season.
