As reported by Kobis, a tracking service by the Korean Film Council, “Harbin” augmented its gross by KRW4.71 billion ($3.2 million), thus securing the number one spot with a 42% market share and 483,921 admissions. The film features Hyun Bin in the lead role of a Korean independence activist and has a cumulative earning of $23.9 million.

In the second spot, “The Firefighters” garnered $850,366, contributing to an 11.1% market share and a cumulative total of $22.9 million. This drama, which highlights the challenges faced by South Korean first responders, attracted 129,252 viewers over the weekend.

Making its debut in the third spot, “Bogota: City of the Lost” raked in $672,000, which translated to an 8.8% market share and 102,979 admissions. With a cumulative total of $2 million, this thriller set in Colombia made a commendable start.

On the other hand, “Sonic the Hedgehog 3” made strides to the fourth position, amassing $563,000 and a 7.4% market share from 89,893 admissions. The film’s total earnings now stand at $1.2 million.

Rounding out the top five is the Korean animation “Pororo the Movie: Great Adventure Under the Sea”, which accumulated $487,680, a 6.4% market share, 83,655 admissions, and an overall total of $1.1 million.

“Mufasa: The Lion King” slipped to the sixth place with a cumulative total of $5.1 million, whereas the anime “Crayon Shin-chan: Ora’s Dinosaur Diary” settled in the seventh place with total earnings of $4.1 million. “Moana 2”, in the eighth position, has a total earning of $21.7 million.

“Wicked” descended to the ninth position with a total earning of $14.2 million. Alex Garland’s “Civil War” premiered in the 10th place and has a total earning of $571,300.
