About the Campaign
Manchester venue Soup has launched a new campaign to support next-generation promoters in the city, in an attempt to nurture the future of the city’s nightlife. The concept, in collaboration with Absolut, aims to work with three emerging promoters on Thursday club nights to help them broaden their skillset and gain industry experience. Soup will provide support with promotion, bookings, free venue hire, and overall development.
Opportunities for Young Promoters
Applications for the scheme are now open, and younger promoters are encouraged to present their party ideas that would be suitable for the midweek slot. The venue’s motivation for this project is to recognize and connect with the next generation of promoters in Manchester. With decreasing attendance at independent venues from younger crowds, nurturing these relationships is crucial to maintaining the city’s club ecosystem.
We have worked hard in recent years, particularly post-COVID, to make promoting and clubbing accessible for everyone. Absolut’s involvement in this project will help us sustain this accessibility amid rising running costs.
