“Joy Ride” is a comedy about four friends on an international adventure of self-discovery. When Audrey’s business trip goes awry, she teams up with her childhood friend Lolo, college friend turned soap star Kat, and Lolo’s cousin Deadeye. The film explores themes of identity, friendship, and belonging, with plenty of wild debauchery along the way. Directed by Adele Lim and starring Ashley Park, Sherry Cola, Sabrina Wu, and Stephanie Hsu, the movie is set to release on July 7, 2023.
