Ternion Sound Farewell Tour 2025: The Final Bow

Published:

Ternion Sound, the electronic music trio, has announced that they will be disbanding after 2025. In a heartfelt statement, Jack Denney, Aric Okerman, and Andrew Hill expressed immense pride in their seven-year journey. Hill, who is expecting his first child in March, along with various personal and professional factors, have led to the decision to bring the project to a close.

The origins of the Minneapolis-based trio can be traced back to 2016’s Infrasound Music Festival, where the producers joined forces for an impromptu DJ set. They quickly formed a partnership and became known for their unique sound, blending dubstep and experimental bass with a nod to the UK underground scene.

Ternion Sound released their debut album, Digital Artifice, on Noisia’s VISION label in October 2023, showcasing their versatility through 26 tracks.

Denney, Okerman, and Hill are currently planning a farewell tour and are in discussions with their favorite promoters to create a memorable final chapter in their career. Fans can expect a tour flyer to be released in the coming weeks.

“From the beginning, we created Ternion Sound with specific values in mind, including playing on sound systems that honor the music, integrity in our representation, education, sustainability, and the freedom to explore composition within bass music,” the group stated. “We hope that we have embodied these ideals throughout our project and inspired others to do the same.”
