Starz has announced that The Couple Next Door, a six-part psychological drama starring Heughan, Eleanor Tomlinson, Jessica De Gouw, and Alfred Enoch, will premiere on January 17, right after Outlander’s season 7 finale.

Entertainment Weekly has an exclusive new trailer for the series, which is said to explore “the claustrophobia of suburbia and the fallout of chasing your deepest desires,” according to the show’s description. The drama begins when Evie (Tomlinson) and Pete (Enoch) move into a new neighborhood and befriend traffic cop Danny (Heughan) and his wife, yoga instructor Becka (De Gouw). What begins as friendship quickly becomes complicated as the couples become “sexually entangled in a way that will change their lives forever.”

In the trailer, tensions start to build almost immediately following the move as Pete tells his wife, “Don’t think I haven’t noticed the way you look at them.” And to make matters even more complicated, one neighbor in particular seems to have taken on the role of the Neighborhood Watch … and not in a good way.
