As we gear up for the launch of our inaugural franchise game, we are setting our sights on a clean slate. It’s time for a reset. Over time, VOX has accumulated some baggage that we, as the new VOX team, are eager to shed. Our goal is to move forward boldly with the incredible community we have built, leaving behind any past obstacles and focusing on the future ahead.
A Reflective Look Back
At the start of this year, we took stock of all our past plans. From the simple concept of ‘VOX having utility in a game’ to the various items like Gala Land and VOX Souls that we have distributed over the years, we wanted to ensure that we honored those promises and incorporated them into our upcoming endeavors.
It was a daunting task to reconcile all these past commitments with the vision of our new game. How do we integrate 33k characters into gameplay? Why is land essential in the game? And what role do souls play in this world? These were just a few of the many questions we grappled with as we designed VOX Villages.
The Birth of VEXI
As we continued to collaborate and delve deeper into the development process, it became evident that we were evolving into something beyond VOX. Out of this evolution arose VEXI – a fresh start, a new vibe. VEXI embodies a new beginning that looks ahead to 2025 and beyond while still honoring the legacy of the past.
We have a deep fondness for the unique characters that make up VEXI, from the charming little creatures to the fierce orcs and zombies. Our creativity knows no bounds when it comes to envisioning new games featuring these iconic characters. Additionally, we are exploring innovative ways to leverage VEXI beyond gaming, possibly as the faces of Gala.
