On Thursday (Sept. 26), Offset took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to address allegations that he made regarding Cardi B’s actions while she was pregnant with their third child. The accusations arose as Cardi B and Offset engaged in a heated exchange on Instagram Live as part of their tumultuous divorce proceedings.
“Listen to your people and the bros told me,” Offset stated.
In response, Takeoff’s brother YRN Lingo commented, “My brother didn’t say anything to him!! Let my twin rest.”
Although there were rumors of tension between Offset and Quavo leading up to the Migos breakup, Offset and Takeoff were reportedly on good terms before the latter’s passing in November of 2022.
Takeoff and Cardi B Drama Continues
The ongoing divorce saga between Takeoff and Cardi B spilled over onto social media on Wednesday (Sept. 25). Cardi B alleged in several Instagram Live videos that Offset was preventing her from moving on, accusing him of extreme narcissism. The former Migos member swiftly responded.
“Narcissism is at an all-time high,” Cardi expressed in the video. “You know what I find so crazy? That a man thinks he can simply buy a woman. I value myself, but you can’t buy me anymore.”
Offset quickly fired back on her IG Live, insinuating in the comments that she had been unfaithful while pregnant with their third child.
“You were involved with someone else while carrying our baby, tell the truth!!” he remarked.
Cardi continued to criticize Offset, claiming that he was desperate to reconcile. Offset refuted these claims once again.
“The fact that you continue to pursue this shows that you are hurting, leave me alone, don’t you have someone else, aren’t we divorced,” he posted. “Everyone can see that I don’t want you! It’s okay, I won’t discuss this further, all love, you’ll be calling me in a couple of months, you’re the mother of my child, I won.”
Cardi dismissed these allegations and proceeded to reveal text messages from Offset in which he pleaded for another chance. The messages concluded with a request to engage in intimate activities over the phone.
