One significant aspect of the forthcoming “Friends” trivia game is none other than its host, the renowned comedian, Whitney Cummings.

Whitney has been selected to spearhead the Max’s four-segment fan contest series “Fast Friends.” This showdown will host avid enthusiasts of the series competing in an array of puzzles, trivia, and games, all revolving around the famous sitcom.

Being a “Friends” aficionado herself, Cummings jubilantly expressed, “Having been a longstanding fan of ‘Friends,’ I am overjoyed to host the inaugural game show. Even after three decades, this series continues to spark enthusiasm and now I have the privilege of bestowing the title of the ultimate fans to worthy winners, who would hold this honor as a lifelong achievement.”

“Fast Friends” is set to commence filming in October. The venue will be the iconic, “Friends” Experience: The One in New York, a sizeable 17,000 square-foot two-level attraction replete with recreated sets, 18 rooms filled with everything nostalgically “Friends”, and immersive activations.

The series promises to recreate memorable moments from the sitcom, “Fans will experience a thrill darting across Joey and Chandler’s bachelor pad or racing through Rachel and Monica’s apartment, all the while being put to the grueling test of their ‘Friends’ knowledge,” describes a part of the description from Max. However, the release date for “Fast Friends” remains undisclosed.

As a multitalented personality, Cummings is known for her work as a comedian, actor, writer, producer, director, entrepreneur, as well as a podcast host for “Good for You.” She was behind the creation of and starred in “Whitney,” an NBC sitcom, and co-wrote and co-created the Emmy-nominated series “2 Broke Girls.” She published her memoir, “I’m Fine… And Other Lies,” in 2017, and debuted as a director with her movie, a version of Louann Brizendine’s bestseller, “The Female Brain.”
