Sam Fender Announces Massive Stadium Shows in the U.K. for Next Summer
Sam Fender has exciting news for his fans as he prepares to embark on a series of huge stadium shows across the U.K. next summer.
Biggest Shows of His Career
Following the success of his U.K. and Ireland arena tour set for December, the 30-year-old musician will be taking the stage at London Stadium on June 6 and at Newcastle’s St. James Park on June 12 and 14. The London show will be Fender’s first stadium performance outside of his hometown and the largest headline show of his career so far, with a venue capacity of 75,000.
Return to St. James’ Park
These upcoming dates will mark Fender’s third and fourth appearances at St. James’ Park, having previously sold out two nights there in 2022. Fans got a sneak peek of the announcement when Fender shared a clip on his Instagram account of a saxophone player performing in the media area of St. James Park on November 20.

Support acts for all three shows will include Mercury Prize-nominated singer CMAT, as well as Philadelphia rockers The War On Drugs, who produced Fender’s latest single “People Watching.” Ticket details, including a special fan presale and general sale information, will be shared with fans signed up to Fender’s newsletter and available on his official website.
Upcoming Album and Tour Dates
Just last week, Fender confirmed the release of his third album, “People Watching,” scheduled to drop on February 21 via Polydor Records. Following his arena tour, Fender will be performing in New York before heading to Europe and North America for additional shows. He is also set to appear at Germany’s Rock Werchter festival in July, sparking rumors of a return to Glastonbury Festival.
